Xi'an, a key city in northwest China, is an important node in China's Belt and Road initiative to expand and deepen economic linkages between Asia and Europe. As the starting point for the overland Silk Road Economic Belt, it plays a pivotal role as a logistics hub for China's western region.
Demand is rapidly increasing for modern logistics infrastructure and for facilities operated by 3PLs (third party logistics players).
Metropoly's Silk Road Hi-Tech Industrial Park, set on 101,000 sqm of land, is conveniently located 20km from Xi'an's city centre and is connected by railways and highways.
The first phase of the project is already operational, and the 2nd phase's construction has begun.
In line with growing personal consumption in the region, the Park will focus on providing value-added cold-chain logistics infrastructure and consumer goods distribution for 3PLs, plus other supporting facilities. The aim is to create a specialized cold-chain platform for China's northwest and countries along the overland Silk Road.
The Park will offer 60,000 sqm of warehouse storage space, including dry warehousing, temperature-controlled storage for cold chain logistics, and other supporting facilities.
